T staff are hassled, says KCR

The TRS chief, Mr K. Chandrasekhar Rao, accused the government of harassing employees fighting for separate Telangana state.

Mr Rao specifically accused the director general of ACB, Mr Arvind Rao, of asking his staff to keep a tab on employees involved in the separate Telangana agitation and to conduct raids against them.

“If this kind of harassment continues, there will be strong reaction in Telangana. The region will burn. The government should immediately stop harassment of Telangana employees,” he said.

However, Mr Arvind Rao denied the TRS chief’s charges. “The ACB has not received instructions from the government to harass TNGO leaders. We did not give such instructions at the ACB meetings,” the DG said in a press release.
