Pakistani security officials say three U.S. soldiers training local security forces were among six people killed in a bomb blast in northwest Pakistan.
The bomb struck a security convoy on Wednesday in Lower Dir region not far from the Afghan border.Three Pakistani security officials said three U.S. soldiers were killed.They were among a small contingent of American service members training the paramilitary Frontier Corps in the region.
The officials spoke on condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the information.The U.S. Embassy declined to comment.
