Girls in the state once again passed with flying colours in the Intermediate second year exams by securing the top rank in both MPC (maths, chemistry, physics) and BiPC (biology, physics and chemistry) streams.
Ms Shehnaz of Krishnaveni junior college, Kothagudem in Khammam district, secured 992 marks out of 1,000 in the MPC stream and stood first.
Similarly, Ms P.Y. Sunitha of Vikas junior college, Nandyal, secured 989 marks in the BiPC stream and secured the top slot.
Narayana students excelled in the exams as 33.33 per cent of the students in the state who secured 986 marks were from Narayana.
Similarly, 40 per cent got 985 marks, 44 per cent got 983 marks and 48 per cent got 985 marks.
In MPC, Narayana students, Ms S. Sneha got 986 marks, Mr S.K. Aasif Ahmed got 985, Mr S.R.V. Vishwanath got 984 and Ms T.N.S. Nimitha got 983 marks. In BiPC, Narayana students, Ms C. Madhuri got 983 marks, Ms K. Prathyusha got 980 marks and Mr K. Amulya Reddy got 980 marks.
Also, 56 students of Sri Chaitanya Group scored more than 980 marks.
In MPC stream, Sri Chaitanya students, Ms B.V.N. Mounica got 989, Mr S.B.N. Kishore got 987 and Ms A. Nazneen got 985.
In the BiPC stream, Sri Chaitanya students, Ms N. Kiranmayee got 985, Ms P.V. Swetha got 983 and Ms C. Madhuri got 983 marks.
The other toppers in MPC stream are Ms Srilatha of Shankari junior college, Nizamabad, who got 990 marks, Ms B.V.N. Mounica of Sri Chaitanya and Ms M. Shravya of Kakatiya junior college, Nizamabad, who got 989 marks. In BiPC stream, Ms Archana of Shankari, Nizamabad got 987 marks, Ms N. Kiranmayee of Sri Chaitanya and Mr A. Harish of Kakatiya, Nizamabad, got 985 marks.
