50 taken ill after consuming food at wedding

Over 50 people, including 12 children, were taken ill after consuming food at a wedding in Abalpur village near here, police said on Wednesday.

People attending the wedding complained of uneasiness after consuming a sweet dish at the function last evening.

All the them were rushed to a hospital where the condition of three persons was stated to be serious.

A magisterial probe has been ordered.
