July 14 deadline to submit marks

Officials have fixed a deadline of July 14 for students to submit their Plus-2 exam marks details failing which their Eamcet ranks will not be declared.

Several Eamcet students who passed the qualifying exam (10+2) from CBSE, ICSE, National Open School and other state boards have not submitted their marks details to the JNTU-Hyderabad, which conducted Eamcet. The marks are needed to determine ranks in Eamcet as 25 per cent weightage is given to marks in the 10+2 level.

“In spite of our repeated requests to these students through public notification and communication through SMSes, some students have still not submitted their marks,” said Dr NV Ramana Rao, convenor, Eamcet.

Officials expect to announce Eamcet ranks on July 24 as the Board of Intermediate Education is expected to send the marks data of students to JNTU-Hyderabad by July 20. The officials had earlier announced that the ranks would be out on July 16 but the BIE delay in sending marks data upset the schedule.
