Mukesh, Anil condemn riots

The Ambani brothers have condemned the attacks on their business establishments by Congress workers in the wake of a report that they had a hand in YSR’s death.

The Mukesh Ambani-run Reliance Industries said it would sue TV5 for telecasting a false report. Mr Anil Ambani’s Reliance ADA Group blamed its corporate rivals.

“We are shocked to see our corporate rivals stooping down to new levels of desperation by engaging in such imaginative and baseless rumour-mongering,” the spokesperson said.

The Telugu Desam chief, Mr N. Chandrababu Naidu, termed the attacks as pre-planned and alleged that Mr Jagan and his henchmen were behind it.

The TD chief said that Jagan’s newspaper carried several reports on the alleged conspiracy but it did not evoke much response.
