Junior college vacation from March 24

The Board of Intermediate Education (BIE) has declared summer vacation for all the junior colleges in the state from March 24 to May 31. The colleges will reopen on June 1 for the academic year 2010-11.

The BIE directed the principals of all junior colleges to strictly adhere to the schedule. It warned the private junior colleges against conducting any classes during the vacation.

Elsewhere, the AP Public Service Commission has issued the schedule for its various recruitment exams that were postponed earlier due to T-agitation.

The junior lecturers recruitment exam will be held on July 4 and the Group-I prelim exam will be held on July 25. The schedule for Group-IV exams is yet to be finalised.
