NBW issued against DGP

The AP Administrative Tribunal on Wednesday issued a non-bailable warrant against the director-general of police, Mr R.R. Girish Kumar, for not appearing before the tribunal. Mr T. Madan Mohan Reddy, judicial member of the tribunal, while dealing with a contempt case filed by Mr Vinod Kumar, a police officer working in Octopus, ordered the DGP to appear before the tribunal on Friday.

Mr Vinod Kumar complained in his petition that authorities did not promote him in spite of an order from the tribunal.
