Court cancels bail of Anusha murderer

The principal sessions judge G. Krishna Mohan cancelled the conditional bail that was granted to M. Rajesh, accused of attacking Anusha and murdering her parents, after the police moved the district court for the same.

Rajesh had attacked Anusha for spurning his proposals and killed her parents at their residence in Lalita Nagar on September 17, 2009. Rajesh was arrested and sent to judicial remand in the Central Prison. Later, he was granted conditional bail on January 12. There was a public outcry after Rajesh was granted bail and the police was blamed for failing to file the chargesheet within the stipulated period of 90 days for want of forensic report from the FSL. The police moved the district court for cancellation of the bail to Rajesh on January 18 and submitted the experts report and the properties seized from the scene of crime to the court on January 19.
