Telangana activists turn their ire on Telugu film directors

After accusing the Andhra people of all the problems being faced by the Telangana people in almost all possible ways, the TRS activists have turned their ire towards the Telugu film directors.

Today the Telangana activists mainly belonging to the TRS party tried to storm the Telugu film chamber in Hyderabad when a meeting of the Directors council was taking place.

They raised slogans against the Telugu film industry and alleged that the Telugu film industry is not giving chance to the Telangana directors.

However the Directors Council rubbished these claims. They said that the Telugu film industry is a private industry and the producer who invests heavy amounts of money in the films decides about the director.

"Just to encourage a Telangana director, the producer cannot risk the huge amount of money invested. Okay, from now onwards we will give chance to only the Telangana directors. If the film fail then would the TRS party compensate the losses?" the directors wondered.

Later the police arrested some TRS activists and then the meeting resumed.
