T leaders in other parties waste: KCR

The TRS chief, Mr K. Chandrasekar Rao, launched a scathing attack on leaders from Telangana region, describing them as “shameless and spineless” characters.

Calling Telangana leaders of all other parties as “waste” Mr Rao pointed out that because of these leaders the Telangana movement failed to achieve separate statehood despite huge public participation after the Union home minister’s announcement on December 9 last year.

Mr Rao also pinned the blame for the hardships of Telangana people on these leaders.

Speaking at the Telangana students wing membership programme at Telangana Bhavan, Mr Rao recalled that Coastal and Rayalaseema region leaders acted in unison while submitting resignations but Telangana public representatives, fearing their respective party leadership, backtracked from their decision to resign.

“The coastal leaders worked with a single agenda to stop the bifurcation of the state where as Telangana leaders are useless, shameless and spineless,” said Mr Rao. “Nobody can stop the Telangana state after December. Even the smart leaders,” declared Mr Rao while promising the students gathered a “Golden Telangana”.
