Eight killed in wall collapse in Thane

Eight persons were killed and four injured when a wall collapsed in neighbouring Thane district this morning.

The boundary wall of Birla company fell on the slums at Dnyaneshwar Nagar at 0500 hours, police said.

Fire brigade personnel were at the spot. The injured have been admitted to a nearby hospital.
