2 men mutilate girl’s genitals after raping her

An 18-year-old girl was allegedly raped here by two unidentified youths, who then mutilated her private parts.
The incident happened on the night of April 17.
It is alleged that the youths ensnared the girl with the help of a woman called Bhavani, who belongs to the same village as that of the girl.
The girl, who reached home in a semi-conscious state and was bleeding profusely, was rushed to the district HQ by her parents.
From there she was shifted to the KGH, Visakhapatnam, as her condition worsened in the night.
The girl’s parents, who were keeping the matter secret, decided to approach the police on Tuesday night, as the condition of their daughter remained critical.
When contacted, inspector Srihari Raju told this correspondent that a case has been registered and the matter is being probed into.
