Weight and watch for Kats

Katrina Kaif is in a mood to experiment. After the crisp cotton saree clad look in Prakash Jha’s Rajneeti, the actress will be seen in a very glamorous role in Karan Johar’s Dostana 2.
She has already lost oodles of weight and is looking even more stunning in her new avatar. In spite of her glamour, Katrina has always been simple in her presentation. Her last film Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani saw her as a simple small town girl.
But Dostana 2 promises to be a hugely different. The actress isn’t very keen on revealing much though. When asked about the film she only said, “There’s a long time before that project begins. I haven’t even started working on it yet, how can I talk about it?”
Karan Johar is known to present his heroines in their glamourous best. From Kajol to Preity Zinta, Kareena, Rani and most recently Priyanka Chopra, every one has added a lot of oomph factor to his films. When asked whether Katrina too would follow her predecessor and do a bikini scene for the sequel, she replied, “No, I don’t think so.”
Her fans have always been curious to see her in a bikini. Whether or not the wait is over for them, only time can tell. But Karan Johar is a man who’s known to convince his heroines. On the other hand Katrina continues to be elusive about the subject. “Every film is different. And all I focus on at the moment is to work hard to entertain my fans. I can’t control a film’s fate. Though I always believe that if a product is good it will always be appreciated,” she said.
