It’s no news that actor, producer and director Ajay Devgn has joined the numerology bandwagon and changed the spelling of his name. He has dropped an ‘a’ from his surname and has been spelling his name as Devgn for quite some time now. However, the latest buzz has it that his mom had made this suggestion in the first place to Ajay.
“His mother felt that doing so would brighten his prospects. Ajay, the obedient son, promptly agreed and decided to go ahead with it,” said a source.
And his mother’s advice has worked wonders for him. Today, Ajay Devgn is not only in the top bracket, but is also a successful filmmaker. A close friend of the actor confirms, “Both All The Best and Atithi Tum Kab Jaaoge were great hits. His mother’s suggestion paid rich dividends to the actor.”
