Deepika finds a fan in Kapoor Sr

Shammi Kapoor, the dancing star of the Golden era, has been busy showering his praises on Deepika Padukone through his Twitter account for quite some time now. The actress, who is overwhelmed by all the attention, is soon to meet him at Shammi’s Peddar road residence.
“Deepika was excited when she learnt that the legendary Shammi Kapoor is a huge fan of hers and has been tweeting about her. When he expressed his desire to meet her, she was only too happy to oblige. Deepika promised to meet him at his residence. Shammi loved Deepika’s work in Love Aaj Kal and has been speaking highly about her. Incidentally, Deepika was dating Shammi’s nephew Ranbir for a couple of years, but the actress feels no sense of awkwardness before meeting someone from the Kapoor family,” said a source.
